This one was a little underwhelming for me. There wasn’t a whole lot of chemistry between Alex and Dani which made the romance a little hard to believe.
Dani was overly disapproving of her brother. She severely judged him and I found it hard to believe they had any communication in the last 5 years if she was this clueless about Isaac and his career.
Dani being so judgmental and not a ton of chemistry in the book makes me give it a 2.5 stars.
I definitely like the Hawthorne brothers series by this author much more!
