Wow!! This book was intense.
Adam Morgan and Sarah Morgan are “happily” married. She is a leading criminal defense lawyer and he is a writer, sort of. While Sarah is busy working her ass off to support them, Adam gets lonely and had an affair with a girl (Kelly) from the local coffee shop where their lake house is. When Kelly gets murdered in their house, Adam is the main suspect and Sarah has no choice but to defend her husband, even though she loathes him. I love a good crime story with lawyers and such and this was such a great twist.. his own wife has to defend him. Adam as a character, a client, a husband, was soooo annoying!! Everything that he could do wrong he did! He didn’t do anything she said and make one mistake after the other. He was definitely an idiot! This story will have you guessing who committed this crime right away and you will be shocked when you find out who actually did it !! Great thriller/mystery crime story!
