This was my first Katherine Center book. While in the beginning fifty or so pages I was a bit hesitant because of how many times the words “Charlie Yates” were on the page, somewhere around page 100 I found myself not being able to put it down. I read the book late into the night and found the banter between the two main characters quite enjoyable.

There are some great quotes about love especially toward the end.

I took off some points because some aspects of the book didn’t seem fully explored, like the big Hollywood names like Jack Stapleton. I’m also wondering if part of that is because this book might be part of Katherine Center’s book universe.

I do plan on reading more of this author’s works. This is a heartwarming read that I think is the perfect length!
