A Song of Ice and Fire
by George R.R. Martin
LOVE IT! Aysegul had put in a good word for it on FB, so I thought, hmm if she read it and loved it, then I most certainly will. Then had raving conversations about it with a colleague from work! By which point, the series was on telly and everybody was talking about it. It was time. Time for me to get it. And time for me to read it and LOVE IT!
I finished A Game of Thrones in one breath, now reading A Clash of Kings. I'm so lucky, I still have all the rest of the series to look forward to!
On the last few hundred pages of "A Feast for Crows" and can't wait to finish and start the last instalment of the series.
Did I say, I love these books? In case I forgot, I'll say it again, I love these books!
At the end of Feast for Crows, I was gutted about Arya and wanted to know what happened to Tyrion.
What I find most amazing is that the characters you despised at the beginning become some of your favourites, and the characters you liked, you start despising. The sheer complexity of the plot and the ways characters evolve to change their characteristics make these fun to read for me.
