Honestly having a hard time knowing how to review this. It took me forever to get into this, the pace picked up about about 40%.
I get what the author is trying to express and while the translation could use better structure, I'm glad I read it. It is a disappointing yet realistic look at how humanity can be when everything else is stripped away.
Be warned. There are many disturbing descriptions which refer to r*pe, death, gun violence etc. Please be cautious when picking this up.
