I went into this with too high of expectations because I love We Were Liars, and even liked the prequel.
I was very bored and thought of DNFing this many times but it was short and the description said it was a mystery and there was a twist, so I kept reading but there was no mystery or twist. Some things just didn’t make sense like Imogen’s mother meeting Julie at the benefit and thinking that she was her daughter’s friend- that’s a bit weird since it was never true. Forest believing that Imogen is alive but murders Jule and steals her identity and leaves him- he knows for a fact that Jule is alive. I didn’t understand the purpose of some of the characters showing up like Brooke and Poalo. In the end, I thought maybe it was me but it wasn’t, I felt as though I wasted my time with this one.
