The book that Mary Bennet deserves. I loved her growth over the course of the novel, and the backstory that the author created for explaining why Mary was the way that she was. There was clearly a lot of thought and love put into this novel. I enjoyed all the "Easter eggs," too, of lines that appeared in various incarnations of Pride and Prejudice. I can't exactly say it's a "fun" read because, honestly, Mary's story is too hard fought to be "fun," but it was definitely enjoyable. You'll root for Mary the whole way through!
