This one took a while for me to finish but the payoff was fantastic. Once I got to the last 100 pages, I couldn't put it down. I loved the complexity of Evelyn and her life story. The ending tied everything up nicely. Last summer, I read Malibu Rising so, I liked the tie in with Mick. This was such a tragically beautiful story about every kind of love. Starting this, I was unaware of how LGBT focused this story was and it made me love it more.
