This was really more a 3.5⭐️, as it hit right in between my usual 3⭐️ & 4⭐️ rating criteria.
I don’t know how I slept on this series for so long, especially given how much I ADORE hockey romances, but I’m SO glad I finally read this, and can’t wait to read the next two, since I’ve heard they only get better!!
I loved Maven and Vince far more than I expected to, and I adored the way Vince was committed to showing Maven that he was different from her garbage ex, James. I did feel as if James’ brief appearance was left kind of unfinished, though , and I could SWEAR the GM of the Ospreys had the same last name as James??? That sort of felt like an unresolved plot hole, so maybe it will be addressed in later books. 🤷🏻♀️
