This book was interesting. At times it really captivated me and pulled me into the horror of trying to survive a Roanoke colony level disappearance but at other times it was repetitive and ridden with typos. From Google- it seems that typos are a problem for this book in multiple editions. This was frustrating because it made it difficult to read at these parts. Some of the characters were absolutely vile, and some of them were genuinely good characters to get to know. I accidentally downloaded this book as I was exploring the new kindle feature of having an audio/traditional mix and it was a good book to explore this feature with. I enjoyed being able to listen in the car and then immediately pick it up and read on my kindle when I got home.
