A little slow, especially in the beginning.  So much description of the community and the families and the events and the grounds, etc.  It wasn't a bad book at all, I sometimes really enjoy a slower paced novel that is introspective.  If you're a big Mary Balogh fan, read this.  But ultimately if you want a sweeping romantic storyline, this could be skipped.
