I'm not going to lie, when I first recieved this book I was absolutely intimidated by the size of it. It turns out I didn't need to worry though, because I finished it in 2 days 🙈

It follows Shannon (like the river) who has been bullied horribly her whole school life, it gets so bad that her mother pulls her out of her school and pays to put her into private school at Tommen College.

On her first day Shannon catches the eye of Johnny, the captain of the schools Rugby team. Johnny finds out what was happening at Shannons previous school and makes it his mission to make sure its smooth sailing for her at Tommen. But Johnny notices bruises popping up on Shannon, he knows something is still going on and is determined to protect her.

Thats all I will say on the plot, but
it is hard to find the words to describe just how much I loved this book. It was an emotional rollercoaster I went from wanting to cry, to laughing, to swooning to being so mad I wanted to scream. If you've been on the fence about starting this series just start it already, definitely worth the hype!
