I have no idea why I waited this long to read this book, I’m just disappointed with past me for not reading it sooner.
I’m not usually one to read about the Devils, but by goodness I am now. The setting is gorgeous, Emilia and Wrath’s icy cold banter and then flourishing into some more kept me enthralled. Wrath’s somewhat protective nature absolutely had me hooked, and Emilia’s continuous changing moods had me in a whiplash (but in a good way). Her struggle with what she believes and what she finds out is just so good in this book!
And that ending? I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.
