The Becoming of Noah Shaw by Michelle Hodkin

4.0

It was terribly slow in the beginning and so unlike the former trilogy. I was disappointed until I got halfway in and things began to pick up. Only then did I feel the Mara Dyer effect that you only feel reading these books. I just wish it would've grabbed me from the beginning like it did in the trilogy. In saying that, I loved getting to read from Noah's POV and I love how she incorporated his English accent into the book. A small detail that probably could've gone unnoticed if she had chose not to do it. And that ending, though! 😱 Cannot wait for book two. November can't get here fast enough.
