Only way I can describe this book is “mid.” To me, it seemed like the book couldn’t decide what it wanted to be — comedy, murder mystery, romance, happy ending, etc. I loved Lipman’s writing style, especially her attention and detail in conversations. Overall, not impressed with this novel; however, it was a light, fun, and easy read.
