A behemoth of a book, but for a life that spanned nearly eight decades and for a government man who served under 8 different presidents, it seems unbelievable that it is as short as it is.

Deeply fascinating and even handed look at a troubled man who helped shape America (for the worst) and its intelligence agencies.
