The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang

5.0

Ms. Helen Hoang, I'm now a fan. The fact that you were able to turn a quite common plot to an interesting story, this book deserves more than a 3.94 star rating. Much more.

Why do I like this book so much?
✔️ It's Pretty Woman but in reverse
✔️ Fake/Practice dating
✔️ Rich girl/Poor guy
✔️ Sweet yet erotic
✔️ Characters are not one dimensional

Plus, I love Stella's internal monologues cos they're very relatable and funny. Lines are written nicely cos they're not cringey, unlike other smutty romance books I've read this year. The progression of Stella and Michael's relationship made sense... not overly done, not rushed. (I will not name drop. You can check my other reviews if you wanna know which books I'm referring to. LOL)

This is a "feel good" book. If you're looking for something light with lots of butterflies, this is it.

Overall rating: 5/5

Why didn't I read this sooner? Ugh!
