A sweet, quick read with heroism and adventure. Featuring a female lead, and perfect for the girls who do not envision themselves as princesses and ladies, but dragon riders and wildlings. I wish I had read this one as a child, instead of whatever Little House on the Prairie and chaotic teen-girl drama thrown my way. Bookmarking this one to reread with my own children.
