I've been reading my way through "the classics" and this has been one of the most enjoyable reads yet. I love the way it captures societal issues from a child's perspective. The story takes a long time to evolve and held my interest all the way through. A truly wonderful read that I would recommend to anyone looking for a novel that makes them question our ways as humans and appreciate those few good people that walk among us.
