Before Your Memory Fades
by Toshikazu Kawaguchi
Every story makes you want to cry. Why did Kawaguchi have to make every story so sad? Why was there so much death? Was it necessary to make the book more poignant? Did every single person have to have a certain illness and die? I don't know. I want to cry and also maybe burn this book. I want second chances. Fear and then maybe just one happy ending. My heart.
Also, the way the rule said going back to the past couldn't change the future... maybe it didn't change what was meant to happen, but it sure did change their outlooks. Yayoi decided to live happier. Nanako fought hard against her illness. Todoroki decided to live. You can't go back and not change anything.
