SECOND READ (oct. ‘23): dare i say pines was better the second time around? the wayward pines series is utterly captivating. the best thriller i’ve ever read, hands down. i truly can’t recommend it enough.

pines is a classic.

FIRST READ (aug. ‘22) (4.5) the television adaptation of wayward pines is my FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME. i’ve watched it too many times to count. so as you can imagine, i had incredibly high expectations for this book. i'm pleased to say this book met my expectations. it was so much fun getting to compare the novel to the show, and getting to read the original plot.

i’m a firm believer in the saying “the book is always better,” but in this case, i don’t think i can choose between the two. they are both incredible stories that I will never forget !!
