This book is leaps and bounds better than the first. I almost wonder if someone else wrote it. I started reading this series because my friend likes it so much. After the first book I honestly didn't think I'd be able to get through it. This book is the reason I am not only going to finish the series- I'm going to binge it.
SJM gets a ton of shit on TikTok. I get why with some of her wording choices (if there's other stuff I'm just unaware of it, enlighten me if there's anything problematic I don't know about). However, let's talk about what WAS good about this book: good conversation on PTSD, good conversation on consent, good conversation on recognizing abuse and gaslighting, good conversation on how healthy relationships are built on trust.
