My first TJR!! This was a brilliant beach read. I enjoy how adept TJR is at tackling Hollywood beyond cliche, while still giving us the drama and gossip that we all love. My only disappointment was in the confrontation of Mick Riva and his children. Perhaps it was the switching between random partygoers, kind of undercutting the tension and stakes. But ultimately I wished there was more of an impact. Like make him really an asshole, or give him a real redemption. Either way would have been better than the pages of excuses that felt like the same story we had been hearing the whole book.
