A historical romance set among the tombs of Egypt in the middle of an exciting archaeological dig! This should have been great. But it was just okay. It was missing that extra something that makes some novels sparkle. I didn’t think enough happened and the setting and other details were lacking. The story dragged (I turned the audio to 1.75x speed just to get the story moving), especially with the never ending back and forth of the two main characters getting a secret thrill from accidentally brushing against each other’s hand but then assuming the other one could never feel the same.
