I wasn’t overly impressed with this book. I definitely didn’t hate it, but it just didn’t do too much for me. I think it was a good story, but I just felt like Alex and Poppy were never meant to be together and I still hold firm to that. I know sometimes opposites attract, but my psychology major in me is saying no opposites don’t attract, similarities do. I think friends can be opposites but at least have a few things in common whereas when your in a relationship if you have so many opposites, your more likely to argue. So I guess my own brain got into the book too much and didn’t like it for that reason. The relationship also felt forced half the time. I will admit I love traveling so I did enjoy hearing about all their travels together, but other than that, I just didn’t care much for it. 2.5 ⭐️
