A Shade of Blood by Bella Forrest

3.0

I liked the story..it's definitely much better than the first book. There's an interesting couple twists to the story, although one of them I predicted pretty easily. The love story still feels a bit off, but it's an improvement over the last. Also Ben redeems himself a bit which is good because he started out as an awful and useless side character. I still find it a bit silly and although I'm interested I haven't decided if the story is good enough to warrant spending 28 more dollars to finish it. I'm cheap and I'm not convinced it's worth it yet. We will see if needing to know what happens gets to me enough to continue. However, the typos which all seemed to be a word followed by an italicized word with no space between drove me a little crazy.
