Bare Your Teeth is an extremely exciting and intense fantasy novel, talentedly handling both plot and characters as the story progresses. 

The characters in this book are unapologetically flawed and insanely loveable all the same. It was heavily charged with graphic gore and tender affection.

Twoony seamlessly fits trans characters and the rejection they face while gently covering their trauma. It felt realistic without being exploitative or tokenized. Seeing characters like Charmaine treated with such understanding is so powerful now more than ever. 

I loved seeing William’s relationship with Nicholas progress into something sweet amid this intense magical war.

This book is fast-paced, high-stakes, and a badass fantasy novel all around.
