All the Young Men by Ruth Coker Burks

1.0

This book made me cry but I have to wonder exactly how much of this is manufactured as it sounds like a lot of it is. Additionally, the entire second half of the book surrounds a couple of people that do not seem to have been compensated for his and his partners stories.
Reading more about the author and the Files family (& how, apparently, no one owns that cemetery. That is a complete falsehood, additionally it is a very small parcel of land) and an interview with one of the men who was the focus of the second half of the book.... I cant recommend this book to anyone.

Read another book on the AIDS crisis instead
