The Edge of Everything by Jeff Giles
1.0

I had high hopes for this.
It disappointed.
It really did.

I thought it was going to be great - we were going to see all these fantastical elements with the Lowlands and I was going to be really into the story-
No.
That didn't happen.
It took me the longest time ever to read and it felt like a chore to read. I was so happy when it was finished! It felt like a burden was lifted!
The first thing I hated about this book was the instalove. I can deal with a bit of instalove, but there was SO MUCH that it was unbearable. I couldn't handle it.
I had to pick up another book and finish it before bringing up the courage to finish this... I just... I don't know why I even finished it.
I thought Zoe was annoying, I didn't really like X, I thought there was too much instalove, and oh, WHAT WAS UP WITH THE PROJECTING A FILM ON X'S BACK?!
It made no sense.
I also thought the author tried too hard to sound TEENAGER I guess.
Teenagers don't talk like that!

Anyway, all in all I didn't like the book at all - the only part that I half enjoyed was the end - and I don't recommend it to anyone.
