oh dear god, i am never recovering from this. it was perfect, just perfect. I found it a bit predictable, but I think it is only because the story and the characters are so well constructed and perfectly developed and because the novel gets its point across so clearly.

I knew Letty would betray them, even as I found myself trying to believe that she wouldn't, and trusting her just like Robin, Ramy and Victoire did.
And I knew Robin would not be able to move on and keep living; not after Ramy's death, not after Griffin's, as well as that of the members of the Hermes Society. Still, I felt like I knew him so well I almost wanted him to pull through while knowing he wouldn't.
