This took me while to read (for a novella) due to work and my own writing, so that's not a comment on the book. It was a fast-paced quick read, and I enjoyed it immensely. A lot of people might comment about "wanting to know more," but a novella needs to give you basics and get to the plot, and this book does, giving up the hole in the ground right off the bat. I liked how the chapters alternated POVs, so eventually, we got to see all the characters and their personalities through the eyes of the other characters.

Highly recommended if you want something quick that sends chills down your spine.
