This was a charming and quick read. I love the format of paired stories, and I love even more that they corresponded to the poetic style described in the intro (A BB CC DD EE FF A) - so cute and neat!

Some better than others but all were quite easy to lap up. I especially enjoyed the title pair, the pair about the religious cults, and the story about the mums old painter flame. Overall great pacing and an excellent sense of place/atmosphere. I don't know if I'll recommend it a lot more of a quiet but good one.
