The most interesting thing about this book is that the protagonist's name is a palindrome. The rest of the time people are digging holes and trying to quit smoking or learning how to read. This book tries to have a big surprise ending but it feels pretty suitcase ex machina and it's a huge let down. I guess kids might still like this book??
