This took me forever to read despite only being 112 pages because it was written so oddly. I get that it was supposed to be mega mixed up and odd, like your mind gets after experiencing such trauma, but at times I literally couldn't figure out what was going on, especially when it flicked between people being human and then living custard?

I think there was a good story in here somewhere:  the shocking, gross and gory really hit hard. But it just got lost in too many odd metaphor-y sentences. 

Seriously, what actually happened at the end????????
