If I could give this six stars, I would.
Right off the bat; I do not see Ambrose and Kodiak as seventeen. I ignored that detail completely because they don’t act like seventeen year olds, they don’t talk like seventeen year olds, and on the cover they don’t look like seventeen year olds. I just pretend those descriptors aren’t there because it’s only mentioned a few times.
I don’t think I’ve ever read sci-fi before, and I knew nothing about this book going into it so I was surprised by how much I loved it! I was hooked pretty early on and never really knew what was coming next.
Clones was nowhere on my radar, so that was a fun twist. It was hard for me to connect with the clones after Part two, when I got so invested in them after I understood what was going on.
