I'm gonna preface this by saying I am taking this whole thing way to seriously and if youre looking for something goofy and gay youre in the right place.
I am all for morally questionable characters but I kind of feel like book is morally questionable. Theres a scene where someone does something that honestly wasnt that bad and the repercussion for it was so so sever for no reason at all and it was generally viewed and deemed an appropriate response and I just couldnt really get passed that. Also the characters were a little bit difficult to like.
All that being said, some of it was really cute and if youre looking at reading it I dont think any of the things I listed are reasons to not read it. I dont think its necessarily an objectively bad book but it did tik off a lot of my bookish pet peeves so it was very much not for me
