Ryker and Brynleigh. This is the first book I read where the FMC is morally grey and has to do things she does not want to do, for the greater good. Or so she thinks.
I loved this story so much, the choosing, the love, the betrayal, the twists during the choosing, the characters found along the way. Brynleigh’s story was so sad and I did understand her motivation, however, it did pull me out of the story a little when she would mention over and over how hard this is.
Ryker was a great character, although this was the first time I read an MMC where he fell hard and fast - he seemed almost enchanted at times.
Their story was beautiful and best believe I cannot wait for the second book! That ending and the cliffhanger left me wanting more
