Beautiful, powerful and brilliant. The way Florence Knapp writes is, firstly, incredible. She had me gasping at the descriptions of everything and anything. Then, the idea behind the story was totally genius, and the execution was great. For each and every name, I was totally into the story and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen.
The abuse that Cora endured, the strength of this woman, who went above and beyond for her children, every time. I was rooting for her, for Maia and for Ben-Julian-Gordon.
In one sitting, in a couple of hours, I read the story of a family that has its struggles, and one thing was the same at the end, for every names: love.
And that epilogue? Thank you, Knapp. That made up for all the time you nearly made me cried.
