Imagine Olympus as you’ve always heard about it. Now throw that away, because this Olympus is better 😉 Why?
✨ Hades is a myth and Persephone has always had a curious thought about him and who he was. But..there is no Hades and never will be again, right?
✨ Zeus is the bad guy. Wait, what? He’s not who you think he is, his three previous wives have just d!ed? Or he’s 🔪 them off 😒

Persephone crosses the River of Styx and is met with a shock she can barely understand and a deal with the devil 😈

I loved everything about this. I am a sucker for a retelling of Greek Mythology, add a bit of spice and it was nearly perfect. I love how Katee Robert retold Hades x Persephone story.

Persephone wants to get out of Olympus and no matter what Hades feels, he won’t stop her. Hades puts on a persona of who he is supposed to be, and it works until she comes along and breaks down his walls that he has built for so many years. I love that Katee has made Hades a complete simp for Persephone.
Persephone may have been seen asthe damsel in distress in the beginning, but we get to know her as this confident woman who will do what she must to protect the ones she loves, despite the plans she may have had. She will shred the layers of stone Hades has put up for everyone and become his everything.
There are several spicy scenes but I do not think that it overwhelmed the book. It was a pretty perfect amount.
