Breakfast at Tiffany's
by Truman Capote
This is a nice quick read-or listen if you went for the audiobook like I did.
It was my first experience of Capote and I don’t believe I have ever seen the film. It was an interesting slice of life type book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. So much so that I listened to the whole thing in a day.
Personally there was nothing stand-out amazing about the book and it doesn’t seem like a book I’ll spend much time pondering, but the unravelling mystery kept me interested - even if perhaps I didn’t find any character likeable (maybe that’s the point?) I’m definitely going to pick up some more Capote though.
