The second book I've read by Olivie Blake. Honestly an amazing read after One For My Enemy. The beginning is really annoying but I think that is just

because it is Death that is talking and she wants him to sound everlasting and mythical.

All the characters are amazing and I think I loved how Bradnt's and Fox's story comes into the mix.

The game however, is especially difficult to understand in the beginning. There is a plethora of different characters that are not just mortal either and there is LGBT representation too.

I don't particularly like Vi's creature cause it's not exactly a vampire no matter how much they want to say it is though because she transforms into a cat and not a bat. When I looked up the creature, it said that it was some creature from Filipino mythology but it's very vague and I disliked that.
