Lads, it's not as good as the Raven Boys :(
My main issue was that it was boring. Things are happening throughout, I just didn't care, at any point. It was my first ever werewolf book, so maybe it's a fundamental lack of interest in werewolves contributing, maybe it was the instalove based on nothing much more than yellow eyes (may I just say, I can't remember the eye colour of most people I meet, let alone use them as the sole identification while they are a wolf), I don't know, I just know I was never gripped.
At least it did, about 3/4 of the way through, cover why they don't just move to Florida, which was, up until that point an absolutely glaring plot hole.
