5 hours into the audiobook and not enjoying it at all, tbh, in spite of the cast recording. I was unpleasantly surprised, because I have loved the other four Gaiman books I’ve read, and I normally love myth retellings. This came across as heavy, boring, and weird. The main character was like an avatar, meaning he didn’t have much of a personality. Some of the myths felt like pointless inserts. Sorry, Neil :(
