keeping this super short and sweet but overall i enjoyed this book!! it was definitely more character-driven and i really didn’t mind— i had some minor complaints about the dialogue/description choices but there was nothing that made me writhe in agony :,)
the romance was a big highlight for me! aswell as the characters of said romance; benji andor and florence day were a delight to read about. the second half of the book was infinitely better than the first half, which is to be expected for most literature (but like i’m talking about the tail end of the book raising my rating by basically a whole star ?)
would recommend if you just want something a lil thoughtful, cozy, and warm
