I always love the opportunity to read a wide range of sports romances so I jumped all over this book when I saw it featured rugby. This book offered up a fun premise of let’s make a deal- Cillian to teach Rory how to flirt/date and Rory to help Cillian bond with his new teammates. All that with the added twist that she’s the coach’s daughter- what could go wrong? I enjoyed seeing them develop a friendship that evolved into deeper feelings. It was great seeing Cillian open up and be vulnerable and Rory coming out of her shell and gaining confidence. They each were what the other needed. This one is great if you are looking for a teaching moment with the backdrop of sports.
