This moved me to tears a few times, how the three women overcame their trials, how past and present generations were connected, how they were connected to the earth. The three narratives wove together slowly, it was a winding story at times, but as each timeline reached their climax I was riveted and couldn’t stop reading until the end.

This book details some of the trials and subjugation women have endured across centuries. It isn’t pretty but it’s real. Check content warnings
