I took a year hiatus between reading "Dawn" and this one. I wasn't sure what to expect but I wasn't sure if I wanted to know. I'm so glad I did continue as I  enjoyed this second installation more than I did the first. And enjoyed learning more about the new Earth through the eyes of Baby Akin and getting more insight into what happened, something that frustrated me in "Dawn".  There were so many interesting concepts that Butler brought into this conversation especially on what it means to be human and the contradiction of our existence. I can't wait to see how this story concludes in "Imago".
