I was looking for some 'bedtime' reading, so I asked on my facebook page for my reader's HOTTEST book recommendations. By far the most popular answer was Nicole Edward's two series, Club Destiny and Alluring Indulgence. I had done a few promotions for the Alluring Indulgence books when Nicole Edwards was donating proceeds to charity, but never read them. Honestly, I was a little put off by the cover. But after all of your recommendations, I began Kaleb, the first in the Alluring Indulgence series by Nicole Edwards.
You guys were right! Whew! I needed a really hot read, something a little extra. Kaleb fit the bill. And when I say extra, that includes an extra guy! Can you say menage? I can (but usually it's while I'm moaning).
I had already received Kaleb when people mentioned that I may want to read the Club Destiny books first because Alluring Indulgence is a spin-off. It isn't necessary at all, but I did notice that there were characters in Kaleb that it felt like maybe I should have known, and I think I would have enjoyed it more if I did read The Club Destiny books first, so I am moving to that series now.
While reading Kaleb, my first impression was that it had a Kristen Ashley feel, the main characters, Kaleb and Zoey, have known each other and been best friends all of their lives and are now just falling for each other. They have both had many fantasies about each other over the years, but they are finally acting on it. But as I read on, it lost the Kristen Ashley feel and became lady porn! Luckily, it's good lady porn. Kaleb is definitely more about the fuck-hot sex than story, and since there was enough story, and I was looking for hot and dirty, Kaleb fit the bill perfectly, especially because I like menage.
I was all over my guy. So Nicole, Mr. Ana thanks you (plus, he likes the menage idea).
When Kaleb's best friend Cage came to town, Zoey's hot fantasies really came true....yum, now that's a sandwich I wouldn't mind being in. Lucky Zoey!

Kaleb was not a book you read for the story. If you aren't looking for menage, dominance and anal, this might not be the best choice for you. But if you like tastefully written HOT kinky sex, this may be just the series for you. For me, I'm jumping right over to the Club Destiny series, then I'll come back to this one. I am really anal (haha...I said anal --appropriate here) about reading series in order.
I definitely can't read too many of Nicole Edwards books in a row. Already my vagina is about to go on strike from the amount of action it's seen this week! I also didn't find myself so into the book that I had to know what was going to happen. I kind of wanted to just save it for bedtime, which was fine with me.
I'll tell you this, when I'm in need of a little libido boost, Nicole Edward's books will be my go-to books.

Kaleb is one of 7 totally hot brothers (each will get their own story) who are all working together to build a private resort in Texas. He has been friends with Zoey since childhood, but they have always fantasized about each other. After Zoey got divorced from her cheating ex, she came to live with her dad, who lives on the property bordering the Walker's, land they would like to use for their resort. So when the sparks fly between Kaleb and Zoey, she doesn't know if it is for her land, or for her. But there was no doubt about it, it was Zoey he wanted.

Dislikes:
- •3rd person point of view made it tough to connect.
- •I found myself kind of glossing over and skimming parts, even the sex.
- •7 fuck-hot kinky brothers? I think that's pushing it.
- •I waited long enough to review (a few days) that I kind of forgot a lot of the book.
- •Cliffhanger (that honestly I completely forgot about a few hours after reading it, it wasn't a relationship cliffhanger, that part had a happy end).
