Looking for Spinoza: Joy, Sorrow, and the Feeling Brain by Antonio Damasio

3.0

Very interesting theories on emotions and feelings, and does quite well in explaining them clearly. An interesting chapter basically summarising Spinoza's life. I mostly liked reading the case studies used to illustrate his points. It was good practice for me in reading non-fiction material of a much higher level than I used to - smoothed the path through Dawkins' 'The Selfish Gene'.
