I enjoyed this as a fun read, though that Cliff hanger was just plain mean. I’m intrigued to read more in Darker Paths. I’m also rooting for Rafe to get his memory back of the night someone put a dark spell on him to say those horrible things to Miranda so she would run into the arms of that someone, away from Rafe. Also rooting for Miranda getting control of jet magical talents that have started stirring from within her after laying dormant.
